Transforming Higher Education Through Faith and Entrepreneurship

Join a movement of educators creating world-class knowledge and experiences for entrepreneurs to authentically live out their faith.

Our Purpose

The Center for L.I.F.E, based at Miami University, serves students, teachers, and researchers by creating academically rigorous and practically relevant knowledge and experiences at the intersection of faith and entrepreneurship.

Why Faith?

Prevalence

Over 80% of people globally claim a faith tradition.

Centrality

Faith is centrally important in many people’s lives.

Growing Practice

Many entrepreneurs who are integrating their faith and work have limited insights from research.

Who We Serve

Researchers

We host the annual L.I.F.E. Research Conference, convene scholars to create new research for journals in the Financial Times 50, host postdoctoral fellowships, share research resources, and guide PhD students—all at the intersection of faith and entrepreneurship.

Teachers

We catalyze a movement of teaching on faith and entrepreneurship by sharing classroom modules, creating teaching resources, sharing syllabi, and convening faculty to share best practices for program development and teaching.

Students

We host a class on faith and entrepreneurship at Miami University and offer students across universities opportunities to experience faith and entrepreneurship through attending conferences, gathering in student groups, meeting entrepreneurs on college campuses, and landing internships.

Entrepreneurs

We serve entrepreneurs and those interested in entrepreneurship by translating research and teaching into practically relevant content.
