Is this just for business students?
Not at all. L.I.F.E. is for any student who wants to think seriously about how their faith connects to the entrepreneurial work they’ll do in the world, regardless of major.
Do I have to be religious?
L.I.F.E. is rooted in faith, and we’re open about that. You don’t have to have everything figured out; curiosity and openness are enough to start.
What if I'm still figuring out my faith?
That’s exactly why this community exists. This is a space for questions, community, and growth.
Is entrepreneurship just about starting a company?
No, and this might be the thing we say most often. Entrepreneurship is about seeing problems and having the courage to do something about them. You’re already doing that.

L.I.F.E. Student Chapters
We’re building a national network of student-led communities, and it’s just getting started. Right now, chapters are forming across the country, each one a space where faith and entrepreneurship belong in the same conversation. Students within geographic regions will have opportunities to connect, collaborate, and build something together across campuses. The students who join now aren’t just joining a chapter. They’re helping shape what this network becomes.

Once a year, students from universities across the country gather with faith-driven entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders from around the world at CEF. It’s one of the most distinctive experiences in the LIFE ecosystem — and it’s open to any student, regardless of whether your campus has a chapter.

At Miami University
Miami University students can take ESP 361: Leading the Integration of Faith and Entrepreneurship, a course that brings students together each semester to explore the intersection of faith and entrepreneurship alongside practitioners, leaders, and each other.
For all Miami students, ESP 361 fulfills the “Sustainability and Resilience” Signature Inquiry requirement and the “Ethical Citizenship & Leadership” Perspective Area requirement.

Leading a L.I.F.E. Student Chapter will stretch you. You’ll build community from scratch, navigate real challenges, and invest in people around you. You don’t need to have it all figured out to start. You just need to care about what this is.
We provide everything you need to get going – toolkits, training, and a national network of other student leaders who are building alongside you. You focus on the people. We’ll handle the rest.
