Professor Brett Smith in a Conversation About Religion, Entrepreneurship, and Research

In April, Brett Smith, founding director of the Center for LIFE, led a research seminar at Emlyon Business School in France. The day included a seminar on faith and entrepreneurship, a presentation on new research, and meetings with faculty, postdoc students, and doctoral students.

During his visit, Smith spoke with Saulo Dubard Barbosa, head of Emylon Business School’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research Center, for an episode of InvEnt Talks. Together they discussed:

  • The emerging field of religious entrepreneurship,
  • Smith’s views on doing research with optimism, and
  • Advice for junior scholars.
