Seek the Good Community Series
The Seek the Good Community Series is a 9-week experiential series designed specifically for L.I.F.E. Student Chapters. It invites students to explore how faith shapes purpose and entrepreneurship shapes the places we live, starting right now, on their campus and in their city.
How to Use This Community Series
This series is a “toolbox, not a script.”; Each 60-minute session follows a flexible flow:
- Welcome + Icebreaker: Building relational connection and noticing the places students already inhabit.
- Content: Engaging with videos, stories, local examples, and conversation starters rooted in faith and entrepreneurship.
- Discussion: Reflecting on weekly themes like Place, Flourishing, and Investment.
- Action + Takeaway: Weekly challenges that move students from conversation into community engagement.
Why It Matters
Most students treat their campus and city as a temporary stop, somewhere to pass through on the way to somewhere else. The Seek the Good Community Series challenges that posture. Students discover that where they are right now is not an accident, and that faith-shaped entrepreneurship begins not with a business plan, but with learning to notice, invest in, and seek the good of the places they already inhabit.
The series builds toward the Seek the Good: Local Business Walk, a semester-long project where chapters go out into their city, meet the entrepreneurs already building for the good of their community, and invest in locally owned businesses firsthand.
